Simply turn the center of the ring until the small hole aligns with the initial of the current month, then suspend the dial so the hole faces the sun and a ray of sunlight will appear on the hour. Aquitaine sundial is 1 1/2" dia., the Celtic Sundial is 1" in diameter. (These dials are not intended to be as accurate as modern day timepieces, as with all sundials, the accuracy will vary depending on the time of year and your location.) You must also remember to add one hour for Daylight Savings Time. Buy one for yourself and one for a friend, ensuring that your "clocks" are synchronized! Handcast by a craftsman whose enjoyment in his work is evident in the detail of this little buck goat charm. The picture of the goat pin below shows a bit better of the deatil on this charm. The goat charm is 7/8" X 3/4" and is detailed on the front side and is flat on the back side.
