Our animal slings are made of durable materials, using heavy 2" D Rings on the handles. .

ADJUSTABLE SLING with front and rear straps: Size 14" wide X 33" long (with strap handle 58" long). This sling works well with the EZ Farm Porta Lift for small livestock up to 300 lbs. (sheep, goats, lambs, calves, small llamas, etc.). The straps enable you to stabilize an animal in the sling. Has added feature of 2 adjustable front and rear straps with heavy-duty snap hook fasteners which are easily attached and removed from the sling. These straps each have a buckle in the center which allows for ease in tightening or loosening the straps as well as easy release of the animal. The straps are easily adjusted to accommodate various animal widths as well as various lengths. Straps can extend from 12" (for small animals) to 46" (for larger animals). They can also be easily adjusted up or down, depending on the size of the animal. These slings have 2 "D" Rings that are sewn on all 4 sides of the sling, which allow the straps to be adjusted from the lower "D" Rings for smaller animals to the upper "D" Rings for the heavier animals

. This sling is very versatile and is recommended if you are weighing a variety of sizes. It is also excellent for use with the EZ Farm Porta Lift as an aid in assisting injured animals that need help standing.*

The Weigh Sling is intended to be used for short periods of time, not for lengthy stays. Consult veterinarian if planning to use the sling for purposes other than weighing healthy animals. SAFETY CAUTION: Never allow an animal whose feet are touching the ground to remain in the sling or lift unless the animal is completely constrained or an unsafe situation can occur.

Straps are easily adjustable by pulling on the loose end, extending from 12" to 46". The animal can be released from the sling by the buckle in the center of the strap or by the clasps on either end of the strap.

REGULAR SLING Size 14" wide X 33" long (with strap handle 58" long). This sling works well with the EZ Farm Porta Lift/Scale. It is identical to the adjustable sling except it does not have any of the strap hardware or the straps. We find that it works well with young animals up to about 100 lbs, but is more difficult to use with larger or flighty animals as it may move forward or backward, making it more difficult to keep in the center of the animal..

We have a 1000 LB capacity, hand operated, posi-brake winch which contains a self-activated, dual pad friction brake mechanism that automatically locks the load securely in position when the handle is released, preventing accidental loss of load.
